Welcome to LA TRUITE Stavelot-Malmedy.

Located in the heart of the Ardennes and on the edge of the Hautes-Fagnes, LA TRUITE STAVELOT-MALMEDY offers 52 km of varied courses on the Amblève, Eau Rouge, Warche, Warchenne and Rechterbach rivers in a natural, tranquil setting.
You’re also welcome to come and tease whitefish and predators at our ponds just a stone’s throw from Stavelot town center. Friendly and dynamic, our not-for-profit association focuses above all on sport fishing and respect for fish populations.
To this end, we offer a range of membership cards, including an annual no-kill fly and lure card. Young people are not forgotten, of course, with age-dependent promotions:

for children under 8 years old during the year, free access to the ponds when accompanied;
for children up to the age of 15, an annual “junior” card for 25 euros, giving them the right to fish both rivers and ponds;
for a second child from the same household, the annual pass is reduced to 15 euros;
and finally, the organization of training days: Saturday May 03 in the commune of Malmedy (pond and river trout fishing), Saturday August 23 in the commune of Stavelot (strike fishing, feeder fishing in ponds and river trout fishing) and Saturday November X (pike fishing in ponds).

On all our river courses, you’ll find grayling, minnows, chub, barbel, loach, occasional pike and mainly fario and rainbow trout (regular releases of trout and troutelle).
Pike, perch, carp, tench, bream, rotengles and roach mingle with the rainbow trout awarded at fishing days and competitions.
